Jenny Strickland BSc (Hons) MCSP PGCE PGSP
Jenny Strickland is a New Zealand qualified chartered physiotherapist by profession and Senior Lecturer in Functional Anatomy and Sports Injuries at the University of Greenwich Centre for Sport & Human Performance. She joined the University of Greenwich in 1997 having spent her prior years in clinical practice and has particular responsibility for functional anatomy and biomechanics as they relate to sports injuries, and prevention strategies.
Jenny has extensive experience of working with athletes and teams from international to recreational level, including NZ women’s hockey, basketball and netball, and England cricket and lacrosse; as well as lead physiotherapist for the athletics venue at the 1990 Commonwealth Games and 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Equestrian. Her early professional career was spent working in specialist sports injury clinics in New Zealand and the UK including Crystal Palace National Sports Centre and Greenwich Hospital NHS Trust.
