Regional Representative 

Georgie has worked in paediatrics for 14 years.  She now works in the Child Development Centre in Bedford as an orthopaedic ESP with a mixed caseload of MSK and neurodisability.

Regional Secretary

Dani has worked in paediatrics since 2015.  She works in the community and is based at the children’s centre in Chelmsford.  She also works at a special school 2 days a week.  

She has a special interest in neurology and transition.

 

 

 


Jenny Alcock - East Anglia Region

Jenny Alcock

Jenny has worked in three different community based paediatric settings since 2002 and is currently based at Brentwood Community Hospital where she has been working for over ten years.  Her main area of interest is neurodisability.  Jenny was on the committee previously where she was the conference chair for the very successful APCP conference held at Stansted.

Kat has worked in paediatrics for 6 years and has experience both in the NHS and private practice.  She has specialist interest in neurology and participation in sports for children with disabilities.

Amy Morrison-Smith

Amy has worked in a number of settings since qualifying in 2008, including the NHS, the private sector and in Higher Education.  She has worked in paediatrics since 2015 and has a special interest is in neurodisability and paediatric orthopaedic management.

Jacqui Taylor

Jacqui is Clinical Lead for Children and Young People's Community Physiotherapy for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, employed by Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust.

She has specialised in Paediatrics since 1992 and has a special interest in Neuromuscular Disease and Neurodisability.  Clinically she supports the Regional Neuromuscular Service based at Addenbrooke's Hospital, being an active member of the North Star and SMAReach National networks and on the SMAReach Audit Committee.   She is CPIP-UK National Network Vice Chair and CPIP-UK Representative for East Anglia.

 

 


Natalie Walsh

Natalie Walsh

Natalie has been working as a physiotherapist since 2007, specialising in paediatrics since 2013.  She is currently based at the Southend-on-Sea Lighthouse Child Development Centre (Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust) working full-time.  She has a special interest neurology. 

 

 

 

 

 


Kirsty Yates

Kirsty qualified in 2001, specialising in paediatrics since 2006.  She has been in her current role in the community in Luton since 2007.

Kirsty has a special interest in neurodisability and postural management.


Peter Pardiwala

Peter Pardiwala

Peter works part time as a community paediatric physiotherapist in Peterborough where he specialises in the treatment of children and young people with a wide range of neuromuscular conditions. The rest of the week he works in private practice where he provides therapy to children and adults with a range of neurological conditions.

Peter qualified as a physiotherapist in 2001 from India. He worked in an out-patient setting providing physiotherapy to children with a range of neurological disabilities. Peter then completed his Masters in Neurological Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University in 2008. He has worked in paediatric community setting since then in different parts of the UK gathering a wide range of experience with different commissioning structures and diverse population.

Peter believes that continuous professional development is crucial to deliver the best care to service users as it helps in expanding knowledge and skills while simultaneously building the confidence of the therapists and their teams. He facilitates multi-disciplinary working across various sectors – educational, social services, acute etc. as it helps deliver holistic care with the person as a whole.

Peter enjoys keeping fit and look forwards to a range of activities to continuously improve his physical and mental health.
