This Level II (Advancing Your Practice) course is aimed at band 6/ 7’s either working in the community or in DGH that have a basic knowledge of respiratory assessment and treatment.
- The course will be aiming to enhance critical thinking through presentations, discussions and practical case studies.
- To discuss ethical considerations around respiratory decision making and safety implications.
- To discuss different modes and strategies using the cough assist.
- To discuss different case studies and reflect on delegates own current practice with children with respiratory needs.
- To consider a rapidly deteriorating community patient and what step might be needed to support the child and family.
