Jane Robinson

Jane works at Sheffield Children's hospital with the pain management service, inputting to families of children and young people with complex pain problems. She has trained using psychological approaches within physiotherapy including Brief Solution Focus, CBT, ACT and motivational interviewing. She also uses acupuncture as part of paediatric practice and has a strong desire to help equip physiotherapists to work with families where there is a complex pain issue and no MDT support. She is currently recruiting a steering group within APCP to develop this.

She has previously spoken at APCP conference about CRPS type 1 and has research interests in outcome measurement, recently presenting a poster at the British Pain Society on "routine outcome measurement in the pain service."

She loves cooking, reading and is not averse to a good G&T.
