GET INVOLVED - National Committee and Specialist Committee Vacancies

3 August 2016 - 8:04am

APCP National Committee Vacancies

APCP is calling for nominations to fill vacancies on National Committee.

The National Committee consists of up to 16 nationally elected committee members, including a number of specified officers.

This is an opportunity for APCP members to help to influence the work and activites of APCP.  It also gives you an excellent opportunity to expand your networks and represent the views of your colleagues

Committee members are expected to make a commitment to attend committee meetings (usually 3-4 per years) and to participate in other activities and projects that arise.  Committee members are normally elected for a 4-year term.

The APCP Constitution outlines the objectives of the Association and the roles and responsibilities of National Committee members.

All FULL members of APCP are eligible for nomination, although we recommend that members with less than 5 years paediatric experience consider joining their Regional Committees to gain further experience.

Members should nominate themselves but will be required, where possible,  to provide the names of 2 APCP members who will support their nomination.

For further information / informal discussion please contact secretary@apcp.org.uk
