Appointment of committee members to the Developmental Follow-up of Preterm Babies Guideline

NICE is seeking to appoint fourteen (14) members to its developmental follow-up of preterm babies committee group to work in collaboration with staff at the National Collaborating Centre for Women and Children’s Health (NCC-WCH) and members of the Guideline Committee to develop the clinical guideline. Committee members will help develop the guideline scope and all Committee members will develop appropriate recommendations based on evidence that has been reviewed by staff at the NCC-WCH.

They are looking for individuals with an interest and expertise in child development and the follow-up of preterm infants in a multidisciplinary setting.  Applicants will have experience of working with multi-professional committees or working groups at a national or regional level. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written skills are required, along with an ability to communicate complex issues to differing audiences. Ideally applicants will have experience of guideline development processes, with an understanding of systematic reviews, critical appraisal methods and the role of health economics.
